Presentation transcript:

Transportation: Opening / Closing Windows Opening and closing bus windows can strain the back. Avoid reaching with straight arms when lifting or lowing the window. Incorrect Here are a few steps to consider: Remember to get as close as possible to the window. Keep elbows bent and as close to your sides as possible when lifting or lowering. Use two hands to lift/lower Correct Put one knee up on the seat when lifting or lowering the windows. Bend and lift with the standing leg rather than the back when opening and closing windows. This helps to take pressure off the back. Correct Confidential-Client Use Only
