PENTECOST APPEAL in response to the devastation caused by Cyclones Idai & Kenneth in our partner dioceses in Mozambique Lebombo, Niassa & new Missionary Diocese of Nampula

Cyclone Idai Cyclone Kenneth 14 March 25 April Malawi Zimbabwe Beira Cylones Idai and Kenneth caused the largest climate related catastrophe in the southern hemisphere. They left devastation in all 3 Dioceses NORTHERN

1000 people dead; people stranded on rooftops for days

More than 1 million people displaced; 285,000 homes destroyed

2,975 sq miles crops destroyed just before harvest (3x the size of Dorset)

Risk of starvation; cholera; malaria
