Understanding the community – Tree Map The Giver: Chapter 2 Understanding the community – Tree Map

Tree Map We will be making a Tree Map (Thinking Map) for chapter 2. You will be filling in the Tree Map as you work through chapter 2 independently.

Tree Map Begin by drawing your Frame of Reference. This is a box around the outer edges of the paper. It is a requirement for all Thinking Maps.

Tree Map In the edges of the Frame of Reference, we will fill the following information: The Giver Chapter 2

Tree Map Next, we will set up the categories I want you to focus on in chapter 2.

Tree Map Significance of Ages The Giver Chapter 1 Age 1 Age 9 Age 12 In this space, you will draw lines and fill in information you learn about rituals at Age 1. In this space, you will draw lines and fill in information you learn about rituals at Age 9. In this space, you will draw lines and fill in information you learn about rituals at Age 12.
