DEPARTMENT OF AIR TRAFFIC CONTROL The department was founded in 1986 at Anadolu University. It had been conducting its training activities under the same university until its annexation to newly found Eskisehir Technical University by the act no: 7141 in May, 18 2018
DEPARTMENT OF AIR TRAFFIC CONTROL Air Traffic Control includes services to provide safe, efficient, expedited and orderly management of air traffic. Air traffic control services are given by the air traffic controllers within area, approach and aerodrome control units. Air traffic controllers are responsible from the safe operation of flights from their take-off to their landing. It is the only academic program with the Directorate General Civil Aviation’s approval in Turkey The training complies with national and international regulations.

DEPARTMENT OF AIR TRAFFIC CONTROL GRADUATION and LICENSING PROCESS Students should successfully accomplish all mandatory and elective courses with minimum 240 ECTS as well as summer internships during the duration of the training. Licensing of graduates are done according to the Air Traffic Control Services Licensing and Rating Regulation (SHY 65-01)
