CoP Spring Work Session Pre-work session survey revealed: Thought growth of CoP is: 52% - steadily growing 42% - somewhat stagnant During work session, value time spent on: Networking / relationship building Core Group participation Growth, functionality, recruiting Association partnering ideas, successes by others BRYAN

CoP Spring Work Session CoP Leaders and/or representative gathered for welcome reception on Tuesday evening followed by full-day work session on Wednesday, April 16-17 in Dallas, TX 24 CoPs (86%) participated 20 Leaders; 4 other core group member Work session included: Rolled out LCI Lean Learning Series in response to 2018 work session discussion Corporate Member engagement CoPs are identifying which corporate member companies have a presence in their market for outreach efforts Corporate Member POC has been contacted for local office POC where there is a CoP to connect BRYAN

CoP Spring Work Session (Continued) Association Partnering Shared which associations LCI has an MOU with and which to focus on to align with 2019 BOD initiatives to promote Lean at the craft level and more fully engage the design community in Lean Recommend CoPs build relationships with any local associations who represent trades Chicago CoP and New Orleans CoP shared success stores they have had in partnering with another association Core Group Engagement / Standard Work Southern New England leader shared her Core Group onboarding power point which others can use as a template; DC Metro shared how it used the template and customized Oklahoma CoP leader shared standard “Bag of Supplies” for events BRYAN

Developing Lean Interest Groups These are groups that have contacted LCI about interest in becoming a CoP; they are forming an interest group in their area in order to gauge the level of interest and sustainability to support a CoP Milwaukee, WI Co-led by Karen Newhouse (Pepper Construction) and Victoria Navarro (Advocate Aurora) Held events in January and March with attendance being cut off at 100 for the second event Third event is being planned for July Philadelphia, PA Led by Amanda Patton (Balfour Beatty) Kickoff event on 5/21 (Lean Cocktail) to introduce group and mission St. Louis, MO Co-led by Jose Garcia (Alberici) and Felipe Engineer (McCarthy) Felipe is delivering LCI’s education course, Intro to Lean Project Delivery at invitation-only event on 5/20 BRYAN
