Science Week at a Glance 2nd Grade Science Week at a Glance Week of: February 25th – March 1st What’s Happening This Week Vocabulary Words Nutrients: Substances (found in soil) that help plants grow. Wednesday – Snack sales Thursday – PJ Day $1.00 Friday – Hat Day $1.00 Objectives Plan and conduct descriptive investigations. Identify sunlight, air, water, nutrients, and space as the basic needs of plants. Observe how the physical characteristics of plants help them meet their basic needs. Explain that a living thing must meet its basic needs in order to survive. A Note from Mrs. Ansley No homework or test this week in my class!
