What is ISCWSA? The “Industry Steering Committee on Wellbore Survey Accuracy” aka SPE WPTS – Wellbore Positioning Technical Section Our Primary aim* is: Produce and maintain standards relating to wellbore survey accuracy Raise awareness & understanding of wellbore survey accuracy Set terminology and accuracy specification standards Establish a standard framework for the modelling and validation of tool performance *Blatantly plagiarized from the ISCWSA Mission
