Face to Face Christianity We spend a lot of time interfacing with digital devices. We must not let our religion become merely digital. Human interaction is preferred or necessary for many things disciples are to do. Real Religion in a Virtual World

Inspired men recognized that face to face communication is better for some things They would rather say some things in person than write them! (2 John 12; 3 John 13-14; 1 Thess. 2:17-18; Gal. 4:20) Face to face evangelism was the common practice (Acts 10:33; 8:26-29) Our confession of faith is powerful when done in the presence of others (1 Timothy 6:12) Rebuke is often more powerful and effective face to face or in the presence of others (1 Timothy 5:20; Galatians 2:11)

Vetting our Virtual Religious Practices Viewing an online sermon or service must not be seen as a valid replacement for attending one. (Hebrews 10:25) Is it possible to practice pure and undefiled religion virtually? (James 1:27) Can elders fulfill James 5:14 virtually?
