FACTS The flag of Egypt is Red, White Black and a Gold Bird in the middle. The Capital city of Egypt is Cairo. The population is 97.55 million people. It is in the continent of Africa. The population of Egypt in 2018 was 99.37 million people.

Famous Landmarks Some of the most famous land marks in Egypt are the Great Sphinx, the great pyramids, the Suez Canal and the White Desert. The Aswan Dam is also a famous landmark in Egypt it is 33,600km long.

Sport in Egypt Sport is very popular in Egypt in fact the most popular sport is soccer the Egyptian player Mohammed Salah is the best player in Egypt at this minute. There is also other sports that Egyptian people play like weight lifting and ground hockey.

Culture in Egypt Egypt celebrates Christmas on the 7th of January. The Egyptians money is called the Egyptian Pound, One pound in Egypt is equal to 49c. The president of Egypt Abdel Fattah el- Sisi.

Celebrities from Egypt Some famous celebrities from Egypt are Omar Sharif, Amr Waked, Omar Metwally and Khaled El Nabawy they are all actors. Omar Sharif is the best actor in Egypt of all time ( 1932 – 2015 ).
