SHS Custom Print Process

AtlasIED DesignLab™ Now that your customer has purchased a SHS Strategically Hidden Speaker they have a few options for the lens cover It can be left white It can be painted It can be customized to match the ceiling it will be installed in through our exclusive DesignLab™ customization process – Customer will need to order “SHS Custom Design Kit”, SHS-CUST for each unit they want to customize

AtlasIED DesignLab™ Once the customer purchases a SHS-CUST Custom Design Kit the will have access to our exclusive DesignLab™ custom process SHS-CUST includes: Flange Custom Printed Disc Custom Printed Ring Flange Disc Ring

AtlasIED DesignLab™ Please note that the SHS-CUST is designed only for use with the Standard 4 & 8 mm lenses that are included in the SHS speaker. These pieces, including the screws, must be saved to properly install the SHS Custom Designed parts.

AtlasIED DesignLab™ Once the SHS-CUST has been ordered: We will send an email with login information for the DesignLab™ portal on our website. We will send out a SHS Camera target along with Photo Guidelines Once logged into the DesignLab™ portal, the customer will be guided through the three ways to submit their designs to us: Upload an image Enter a color value Send us a material sample Or any combination of the three SHS Camera Target

AtlasIED DesignLab™ Once logged into the site the customer Will see their order details Be able to add additional Admins to the order Create a job name for the order Order extra SHS Camera targets – 1 per every 5 SHS-CUST ordered Select how they will submit their design, by quantity

AtlasIED DesignLab™ For each way the customer will be submitting their information, by picture, color type, or ceiling material sample, they will see their submission on the web page. If they are submitting a photo they will need to follow our Photo Guidelines sent with the camera target or watch the video The customer will need to assign all quantities of SHS-CUST to the order before the next step in the process, printing of the sample lenses can begin

AtlasIED DesignLab™ After receiving and processing the customers submission, we will create a sample, or “proof” lens disc that will include seven swatches of minor color variations of their submission. The sample proof will be shipped to the customer for comparison with their real material. We want them to choose what looks best. Please note that only one proof disc will be sent for each unique design. After receiving the proof, the customer will decide which color letter is closest to their material.

AtlasIED DesignLab™ After receiving the proof, the customer will decide which color letter is closest to their material. They will then log back into their order and make their selection based on the letters assigned on the disc. Once their selections are made we will begin the final print

AtlasIED DesignLab™ Once the customer receives the SHS-CUST kit they will need to install the new parts on the SHS speaker using the chosen lens (either 4 or 8 mm) Depending on the turn around time from the customer the entire process will take about 3 weeks
