FACULTY OPERATIONS What we do Adjunct Faculty On-boarding Administrative responsibility for on-boarding tracking site for both KU online and our new KU Learning Centers Handle vetting and updates of all academic credentials of new candidates i.e. transcript review, verification of school accreditation, foreign degree evaluations Account provisioning (email, Customer Care) for new candidates Faculty Orientation Registration (PD101) and inclusion in Instructional Matrix Manage library for teaching waivers Manage site and orders for Headset and MS Office 2007 requests

FACULTY OPERATIONS What we do Adjunct Faculty Payroll Adjunct Faculty compensation for teaching assignments & additional duties Overload compensation for Full-time employees/instructors teaching Letters of Engagement Payroll issues Provide support with MSS transactions impacting Adjunct Payroll (i.e. FT to PT status changes or PT to FT, terminations) Adjunct Payroll Reporting

The Faculty Development Team Is committed to helping novice and veteran teachers to create a collaborative, student-centered online learning experience.  We coordinate professional development of new faculty and sharing of best practices among Kaplan’s veteran faculty by providing: training, resources, and services designed to enrich both the teaching and learning process a community for fostering practices of adult education and promoting faculty scholarship. a means to facilitate communication using the CTL Website

New Faculty Orientation PD101 Stage One: Orientation (facilitated course: must be successfully completed to teach) PD102 Stage Two: Development (self-paced workshop: may be completed at any time during 1st year) PD103 Stage Three: Development (facilitated course: must be completed during 2nd year) Student Achievement Student Satisfaction Faculty Performance Faculty Satisfaction
