Light level sensor Temperature sensor Motion detection ecDeskSensor Perfect companion for Alexa ecDeskSensor Sits on the desk, voice communications, convenient power and no labor to install. HVAC Lighting Plug Load Left click to advance

HVAC, lighting and plug loads are the main energy costs. Left click to advance Every year, the nation spends approximately $200 Billion in energy for commercial buildings. Yet, during the workday they are unoccupied on an average of 50% wasting a potential $100 Billion dollars a year. There are no smart buildings, if they're not turning HVAC, Lighting and Plug Loads off when not required or unoccupied! HVAC, lighting and plug loads are the main energy costs. $100 Billion per year savings? HVAC Lighting Plug Load

Ambient Intelligence: “Electronic environments that are sensitive and responsive to the presence of people.” — Wikipedia Occupant cell phone tracking, badges, temperature and motion in the ceilings or walls. (Bad ideas or not cost justified!)   Cell phones and badges can provide occupant tracking but temperature is a problem. Temperature is also a problem with ceiling mounted devices and if it's put in a wall you have the expense of labor and power. ecDeskSensor ships directly to the occupant, they configure. Simplicity is our friend, labor is our enemy. ecDeskSensor $60: temperature, motion and light level. No labor costs No batteries. It costs $100-$250 in labor just to mount sensors or thermostat on the wall. Plus the hardware cost. As simple as ring.com, Billions of desk in the world could have an Alexa/ecDeskSensor.

There are no batteries in this system! The ecDeskSensor system monitors the plug loads providing accountability of the desk occupant. (Occupied and unoccupied.) Optional on/off switching when required. Data is the new gold, desk occupancy tracking and control of HVAC, lighting and plug loads all orchestrated from the desk occupant. Desk occupancy data provides whether or not a control damper is a cost justified opportunity. If the occupant is not at the desk (30%/50%) then shutting off HVAC becomes a logical investment. The control damper then provides individual comfort control when occupied. Comfort is important. What would you rather have one thermostat in a corner office controlling three or four offices or a thermostat on each office desk? What happens when you have precise temperature control? Efficiency and energy savings.

Adjust or turn off your light source. Automatic damper to maintain individual comfort setpoint. Automatically balance air flow to individual comfort conditions. You no longer have to air balance. ecPlugLoad Sensors

Accountability of your individual energy usage! Validate energy-saving claims! Owner will know the cost in energy to operate each workstation/office desk. Computers etc. left on overnight can add $1000 to $1500 per year as per Gen. Services Administration (GSA) ecWorkStation sensor system will provide the usage cost $ for HVAC, lighting and plug loads, for occupied and unoccupied time periods The complete system will provide additional comfort with HVAC and lighting. Learns the occupancy tendencies and automatically adjusts the schedules for HVAC. “There is no technological reason that prevents us from modifying the air conditioning system and lighting, within a building, to conform to the momentary needs of the occupants. We have the capabilities to add instruments to a building’s sensors and actuators, and add local logic and controls to the point of individual climate control — in real-time.”

72.5° F average setpoint 72° set point 70° set point 73° set point

The ecDeskSensor system monitors the plug load providing accountability of the occupant. (Occupied and unoccupied.) Optional on/off switching when required. The desk occupant or manager will know the plug load costs when occupied and the costs when unoccupied.

Fighting over the thermostat settings will no longer be a problem. Communications Alexa/ecDeskSensor System Voice activated control of temperature, lighting or automated window drapes right at your desk. Fighting over the thermostat settings will no longer be a problem. Voice activated settings, “wizard I will return in one hour” your desk sensor will have your office temperature back to normal temperature just prior to your return.   Wizard set light to level IV Wizard schedule conference room 3 - 4 PM today Wizard why is it warm at my desk location? The main HVAC system will be off for maintenance repairs between these times 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm your temperature adjustments will be locked in the default settings until the repairs are completed. Setting it higher or lower will not improve your comfort. Your incoming air temperature (supply air) is not at the appropriate temperature to meet comfort settings. Notifications have been sent for repairs. Resetting your comfort temperatures will not resolve your discomfort. Your setpoints are locked at default until the problem is resolved.

The desk sensor system will notify manager or owner of the energy savings that can be achieved.   Notifications of energy saving upgrades: Desk sensor #24 average occupancy during normal working hours is 41% this will provide a one-year ROI by providing wireless automatic damper. This damper will automatically shut off to the unoccupied temperature settings. Your desk sensor will control the damper to meet your comfort requirements while occupied. Desk sensor #3 average occupancy during normal working hours is 20%. Wireless light source switch will provide 1.2 ROI. Managers will have less unproductive phone calls, e-mails, tension and temper tantrums. Individual costs at each desk location; ecDesk sensor #3 average lighting costs/day for occupied periods is $2.50 Average lighting costs/day for unoccupied periods is $1.25 The above information is available for HVAC costs and plug load costs Tenants will know individual energy usage costs and invoiced separately. Accountability will save the nation billions of dollars each year. If unoccupied, turn it off! HVAC, Lighting and Plug loads.
