Conveyance System O&M Requires ongoing maintenance and repair to ensure reliable operation and reduce the number of overflows Requires accurate, up-to-date, and readily available information Used for many different purposes: planning, design, analysis, wet weather, maintenance
Comprehensive O&M Manual Prior to 2016, did not have comprehensive O&M manual Had ~40 different manuals, various ages, representing many different assets No centralized location Information about individual sites incomplete or outdated
Comprehensive O&M Manual Development In 2016, contracted with Donohue to begin developing comprehensive conveyance O&M Manual Work to date: Created overall layout, structure, and organization of manual Identified, gathered, and compiled information on 20 critical sites and 75 non- critical sites
Requested Change Order Staff recommends continuing to use Donohue to complete work on remaining 48 critical sites Donohue experience results in efficiency Other firms would have learning curve: additional costs Costs are consistent with past work Potentially one final CO after this one- depends on staff availability
Request to Restore ED Authority ED has authority to make cumulative professional service contract changes up to $50,000 for contracts less than $500,000 ED utilized all authority Request to restore ED’s authority in case other additional services needed
