Introducing...The Benchmark of Quality (BoQ)

The BoQ lists 53 benchmark of quality in school-wide PBIS with 10 critical elements: PBIS Team Faculty Commitment Effective Procedure for Dealing with Discipline Data Entry & Analysis Plan Expectations & Rules Developed Reward/Recognition Program Established Lesson Plans for Teaching Expectations/Rules Implementation Plan Classroom Systems Evaluation The BoQ Used by teams to evaluate the status of SW PBIS supports and to provide a way to assess and identify areas of strength and need for establishing future action plans for sustained implementation.

Benchmarks of Quality (BoQ) When do schools take the BoQ? Schools qualify for the BoQ if they received an overall score of "80" or higher on their most recent SET and they have completed the 2-year training sequence. Schools can only do the BoQ for 2 years in a row and then the third year, they need to do a SET again.

Team Implementation Checklist Using the TIC to action plan next steps Appendix D – pages 40 - 49

Taking the TIC Review Coach reads each question and the team discusses Coach enters the score in the implementation manual first When all questions have been discussed and scored, the coach enters the scores in pbisapps.org

Action Planning Access TIC reports from pbisapps.org Use reports to action plan for next steps Use the action planning form that helps you inform staff and get buy-in for your next steps
