Fireworks Be Safe! Be Safe Miss Chapman says: “Have fun and keep safe!

Every year, just before Bonfire night, we are reminded about the Firework Code. Be Safe

This is a code of instructions telling us how to enjoy fireworks and be safe at the same time.

Firework Code Be Safe

Keep fireworks in a closed box. 1 Keep fireworks in a closed box.

Take fireworks out one at a time and then close the box again. 2 Take fireworks out one at a time and then close the box again.

3 Use a torch to read the instructions on each firework. Do not use a naked flame.

Light all fireworks at arm’s length. 4

Safety instructions are there to help us, but if they are just written in a list people often ignore them. Design a poster to put up in school to tell people how to be safe on Bonfire Night.

It should be eye catching so that people will stop and read it. Your poster should include 1 or 2 of the instructions and be easy to read. It should be eye catching so that people will stop and read it.
