Department of Physics, Fudan University, Shanghai 200433, China On the Lorentz Local Electric Field in Soft-Matter Systems P. Tan, W. J. Tian, L. W. Zhou, and J. P. Huang Department of Physics, Fudan University, Shanghai 200433, China Conclusions This work has convincingly demonstrated the rotation-caused reduction of the LLF in field-responsive soft matter systems in which rotational phenomena are abundant due to the shear flow and/or other external stimulations. Such reduction arises from charge relaxation, as revealed by the good comparison between our experiment and theory. References: [1] R. Tao and Y. C. Lan, Phys. Rev. E 72, 041508 (2005). [2] J. P.
