July 10 - 12 Continued Action Plan: Area of need SMART Goal Action Steps Alignment between the Action Plan, SMART Goal, and Gap Statement Provide a step-by-step guide to the actions that will take (approx 10 action steps for each SMART Goal) Who is responsible for the action and who will participate Should “paint a picture” explaining how the school will work to accomplish the goal Describe what each planned activity is and what is expected to look different as a result including starting and ending dates How often each activity will take place What the district will look at to determine if the implementation was successful Mid Year Benchmarks: are we on the right track? Final Product Associate Superintendent takes all data and information and compiles the final plan to submit to state ed. Deadline is August 1 to NYSED (BOE approval is Monday night) DMN
