Ace Ross

Achievements At the end of a decade, in 1989, when leggings were the height of fashion, Ace Ross created a hip fashion sensation, moving the trend into the next evolution. Ace created “She’s Got Legs”, cotton lycra, stretch velvet and stretch silk bell-bottoms . He combined Pucci prints, florals, stripes and solids into a cool hip Soho brand. “She’s Got Legs” the flagship boutique in Soho NYC catered to a highly celebrated clientele including Madonna and Brooke Shields. The line was so hot it was picked up nationally by Macy’s. In 1995 Ace Ross moved to Los Angeles and created the number one private label junior manufacturing company in the world, “One Clothing”. In 2000 Ace Ross created “Ace Ross Studios”.

“She’s Got Legs” In 1989, Ace opened up his own legging company called “She’s Got Legs” Ace opened shop in Soho NYC and began designing leggings and Hiphugger bellbottom leggings. Ace made patterns, bought fabrics, trims, hangtags and hangers, handled retail and wholesale. Ace handled all aspects of manufacturing, marketing and sales. Ace sold retail in his own boutiques and shipped wholesale to Macy’s all store buy.

Pandora Casuals/One Clothing In 1995 Ace moved to Los Angeles to be a buyer for “She’s Got Leg’s” six locations in NYC utilizing the downtown Los Angeles ally. He was hired as an independent contractor, VP of Sales and Marketing for Pandora Casuals. In 1998 Ace created the concept “One Clothing” Ace planned all marketing aspects including, photography, tradeshows, and managed international sales and marketing for Pandora/One Clothing and led the company to 100 million in sales in the year 2000. I lam passionate about guerilla marketing techniques and placing product in film –TV and editorial in all the fashion magazines.

Ace Ross Studios In 2000 Ace started Ace Ross Studios His success in the Korean community led to the opening of AR Design Studios & wholesale distribution center on San Pedro Street, in downtown Los Angeles. He created a better to higher price point line of denims, separates, coordinates and loungewear for the junior and tweens market. The line sold to national chains and boutiques. In 2003 Ace Ross Studios was sold.

Ace has full knowledge of the junior garment industry soup to nuts, fashion trends and ability to translate this knowledge into sales.
