Western blotting for inflammatory cytokines (A), cleaved IL-1β (C-IL-1β) for TLRs as immune activators (B), and various cell signaling pathways (C) detected in lung tissue homogenates of C57B/L6J mice at 24 h postinfection of the WT strain, strain ΔanvM, and the corresponding complemented strain. Gel data were quantified using densitometry with Quantity One, and data are representative of results from three independent experiments.
