Show- Don’t Tell! Showing what you mean through details without telling your reader what it is. ☺

“No one cares for me, as I am easily passive serving only one purpose to many.  It is okay, I’m used to it. My skin is beaten down, scuffed, made up with scratches and scars.   Many others are like me, serving only one purpose and living life invisible.   Like me- their outer appearance isn’t of the highest fashion, but a few scratches and scars never hurt anyone. Our purposes vary, but we are all one in the same.  The guy a few feet from me- his life revolves around the mail.  His heart skips a beat when the mail goes out everyday.  Then the guy down the street loves light.  He is tall and slender, but he lights up the world below him.”
