Hello, Columbia! Suggested arrival times Trust the process  You will receive an email soon regarding arrival times. With so many awesome scholars arriving this day, we stagger arrival times to cut down on the traffic. Trust the process  Parents park in the garage across the street from Mark Twain Hall. Forms & Documents check-in We will make sure that you have all your forms on file. Lunch on your own at a local restaurant or in the dining hall. Lunch in the dining hall is between $8- $12 per person. Optional Campus Tours

Packing 411 Please bring: Bring ALL medications (RX and OTC) in a labeled Ziploc bag outside luggage Laundry detergent no PODS Umbrella/raincoat Some (but not loads of) spending money Light blanket-A/C is often “gifted” Watch, alarm clock, water bottle School Supplies: folder or two, notebooks, pencils, pens, backpack, etc. Bedspread, pillows, sheets, towels, washcloths are provided! While these are provided, it’s nice to have the comforts of home! Snacks in plastic containers (plastic bins will fit under the beds) Please don’t bring: Smart watches, TVs, DVD players, Wii, laptops, Amps, etc. Refrigerator, weights, tennis rackets, sporting equipment

Opening ceremony and activities Following move-in and lunch, scholars and families join in Jesse Hall auditorium 1:30 pm Business casual dress for ceremony Parent Orientation after the ceremony concludes. We will: Review Scholar Handbook Review Campus Boundaries Parents depart after the Parent Orientation 4pm All Academy photo on the Quad. Wear your MSA t-shirt! 7pm Games & Ice Breakers at the Rec Center

Teachers get a glimpse into a what MSA is all about Alumni Day | Saturday, June 22 Mingle with scholars from previous Academies Family Day | Sunday, June 23 Parents can sign out their scholar from 8am-5pm Optional major/minor visits MU Honors College Presentation 2:30pm
