Advisory Board Becomes a Commission To properly reflect actual role To reflect change from operational review to strategic planning Although the advisory board understood it’s role the change to commission is a better fit to diocesan organization style and avoids misunderstanding of the commission’s actual role.

The mission is re-defined. "Procter Farm provides a safe, inviting, and spacious rural setting that cultivates spiritual formation, models sustainable living, and celebrates God’s love and reconciliation through hospitality, prayer, study, work and play." The mission is re-defined. On june eighteenth the commission came together at the Convent of the Transfiguration to develop a new vision statement. It was an inspiring time together as we developed this statement to guide our strategic planning.

This did not happen in a vacuum Thank you Penny and Leo Buckley Thank you Rev. Sallie Schisler Thank you Rev. Eileen O’Reilly Thank you Procter Commission Many people make all of what happens at Procter a reality. It starts with those who led Procter to the facility we know and love. Thank yopu to Penny and Leo Buckley for their 13 years of service as director and Maint. Supervisor. Thank you Sallie schisler who led the Procter Board for five years. Thank you eileen O’reilly who has taken on the role of consusltant in addition to being a parish priest. She has led us through all of the renovations while working with the staff to better define their role and responsibilities. Thank you Procter commission for your dedication and enthusiasm. And the staff has adapted to change and improvements with dedication and smiling faces And of course none of this is possible without you, the diocese of southern ohio. Thank you for your support and if you haven’t seen us for a while came on over and see the improvements. Thank you Procter Staff Thank you fellow members of this diocese

And the Thank You’s Continue: Thank you to our Interview Committee - Anny Stevens-Gleason, Ed Hardin, and Eileen O’Reilly. "Procter Farm provides a safe, inviting, and spacious rural setting that cultivates spiritual formation, models sustainable living, and celebrates God’s love and reconciliation through hospitality, prayer, study, work and play." Be ready to welcome our New Acting Director – Chris Tokarz! This September three folks came together for a special task. To interview and recommend to Bishop Breidnethal who our next director should be. Thank you to Anny Steven’s Gleason, Ed Hardin, and eilleen O’Reilly. There discerning work and continual presence on the phone and in person over a four week period, makes it possible to announce today a new Acting director for Proctrer Camp and Confernece Center. Be ready to welcome our New Acting Director – Chris Tokarz! She starts Dec. 1 and she has experience as a camp and conference center director, as a teacher, as an environmentalist, and in mission as a peace corp volunteer. She will be director over all aspects, but for the next 12-18 months she will be focusing on fleshing out our vision into concrete long term plans. Please support her as she travels the diocese and as you come to Procter.
