Building a CMMI Data Infrastructure February 6-7, 2017 Name: Laura Bartolo Title: Senior Research Associate, Data Coordinator Institution: CHiMaD, Northwestern University Research Interests: materials data curation & exchange Data you could provide to a Data Repository CHiMaD makes its research data available through its Materials Data Facility (MDF). Major challenges to building a shared CMMI Data Repository - Common structuring of data (formats, schemas, vocabulary). - Research connections across multiple disciplines in Civil, Mechanical & Manufacturing Innovation. - Balance of benefits between distributed and centralized. What you hope to get from this Workshop A better understanding of the research needs of the CMMI community and the barriers impeding development of the CMMI Data infrastructure.
