In The Valley In the valley

See, the virgin will become pregnant and give birth to a son, and they will name him Immanuel, which is translated “God is with us.” Matthew 1:23 CSB

You get to know God intimately in the valleys.

How lovely is your dwelling place, Lord of Armies How lovely is your dwelling place, Lord of Armies. I long and yearn for the courts of the Lord; my heart and flesh cry out for the living God... Psalm 84:1–6 CSB

Even a sparrow finds a home, and a swallow, a nest for herself where she places her young— near your altars, Lord of Armies, my King and my God... Psalm 84:1–6 CSB

How happy are those who reside in your house, who praise you continually. Happy are the people whose strength is in you, whose hearts are set on pilgrimage... Psalm 84:1–6 CSB

As they pass through the Valley of Baca, they make it a source of spring water; even the autumn rain will cover it with blessings. Psalm 84:1–6 CSB

Happy are the people whose strength is in you, whose hearts are set on pilgrimage. Psalm 84:5 CSB

But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is perfected in weakness.”... 2 Corinthians 12:9 CSB

Therefore, I will most gladly boast all the more about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may reside in me. 2 Corinthians 12:9 CSB

The valley becomes the pathway to peace.

Happy are the people whose strength is in you, whose hearts are set on pilgrimage... Psalm 84:5–6 CSB

As they pass through the Valley of Baca, they make it a source of spring water; even the autumn rain will cover it with blessings. Psalm 84:5–6 CSB

So if you have been raised with Christ, seek the things above, where Christ is, seated at the right hand of God. Colossians 3:1 CSB

Finally brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely,... Philippians 4:8 CSB

...whatever is commendable—if there is any moral excellence and if there is anything praiseworthy—dwell on these things. Philippians 4:8 CSB

Even when I go through the darkest valley, I fear no danger, for you are with me; your rod and your staff—they comfort me. Psalm 23:4 CSB

Happy are the people whose strength is in you, whose hearts are set on pilgrimage... Psalm 84:5–6 CSB

As they pass through the Valley of Baca, they make it a source of spring water; even the autumn rain will cover it with blessings. Psalm 84:5–6 CSB

In the valley, prepare for God’s provision.

Respond to God with faith and he will show you his faithfulness.

God rarely reveals himself to people who are rushed.

Therefore, the Lord himself will give you a sign: See, the virgin will conceive, have a son, and name him Immanuel. Isaiah 7:14 CSB
