Well Balanced Bakery Has 3 Parts Business- knowledge on how to do all of the things that are new to you. Baking- Equipment, products, suppliers, costing, and more. Management- You are the leader & driver of the project, thus you have a lot of ground to cover.

The first place to start is the Small Business Administration (SBA) - Create a Business Plan! The internet offers several great resources, most of the information is free. The business plan is the document you write to move you through the process of starting, remodeling, or expanding a business.

Business Plan Should Include It is typically made up of three parts: Concept- The definition of what you are going to do How your concept fits into the marketplace The financial plans that show you will be successful Executive Summary Company Description Market Analysis Organization & Management Service or Product Line Marketing & Sales Funding Request/Plan Financial Projections Appendix

Vocabulary Business Plan- The business plan is the document you write to move you through the process of starting, remodeling, or expanding a business. Wholesale- The goods are mainly sold to the retailer who sells it to the customer. One of the main differences is the price of goods. Wholesale will always be lower. Retail- Selling goods directly to the customer for a profit. Distributors- An entity that buys products, warehouses them, and resells them to retailers. Usually sales based on large volume. Trade Shows- Educational event you can attend, bring you closer to suppliers, new products, technology, and innovations.
