Week 9 Farzain Majeed

Last Week of REU :( This week was full of field trips and other side things which means I didn’t get to do a whole lot. Also this is the last week. It was fun and I learned a ton.

Visualizations One thing I am wanting to do more and more was look into different ways to visualize the layers of the network. What I’m learning is that, at least with the CommaAI dataset, is that the old model doesn’t seem to focus on specific items in scene and jumps around a lot. Though, it does actually pick up on items like cars pretty well which indicates cars may not need t be included at all. I can’t yet properly judge the new model because

Keras-Vis Keras-vis is a nice package I’m using to view the class activation maps to help visualize the gradients. I still need to test this in scenarios like traffic lights. This is an issue because the dataset is so huge. I really want to take all my testing/training/dataset into a virtual environment like GTA V.
