Cartes’2008 Visa demonstrated instant issuance at Cartes’2008 exhibition in Paris with Verisoft InstantEMV to show how to issue EMV + PayWave dual interface GP cards instantly. Using a MagTek EC1000 embosser customer selected preferred image which is printed on opaque or transparent JCOP31 GP cards after selecting his own PIN on a secure PIN PAD. EC1000 personalized both EMV and contactless PayWave chip, first printed the image with thermal dye sublimation and embossed the number and name and indent printed the CVV2 on the back.
