“Hardly any,” answered James in short. But the joke made James embarrassed and he wondered what to say to the young girl. ★ “Hardly any,” answered James in short. ★ “Only her name and address,” admitted the visitor. “and I was told that she was a nice lady”. He made the last statement in a slight voice. ★ “Her tragedy?” asked James, nervously. ” ★ “ Uh…it is very warm for this time of the year. ” asked James. “Does that door … the tragedy?” ★ It was a relief to James when ★ Again James wondered what to say, “She has been… Uh… very interesting.” ★

*“ I'm sorry for your husband and your brothers *“ I'm sorry for your husband and your brothers. However, I believe one day they will come from the open door. ” said James gently. *“ No… I don't mind … of course.” mumured James, with sweat welling up in his palm. *Feeling sympathetic, James said “ I could understand how sad you are.
