Comparison of Plasmodium falciparum-specific seropositive antigen responses in adults and children. Comparison of Plasmodium falciparum-specific seropositive antigen responses in adults and children. Antibody responses in adults (>20 years old) and children (0 to 5 years old) are arranged from left to right according to the average signal intensity across the three sites. A cutoff log2 FOC of 1 was used to define seropositivity. The antigens are listed in the same order in each panel. Of 500 P. falciparum antigens on the array, 129 antigens were seropositive. Benjamini-Hochberg (BH)-corrected P values for t tests comparing adults and children are shown (secondary y axis), and the cutoff value for significance (P < 0.05) is indicated.
