Property of Eagles Soccer Club VISION The Eagles Soccer Club will continue to strive to be one of the best clubs in the United States while providing an opportunity for all players to develop to their full potential. One of our greatest priorities is the placement of players at the top college programs in the country and on the United States National Teams. MISSION/PHILOSOPHY The Eagles Soccer Club will create an elite environment that develops successful, well rounded individuals who exhibit good sportsmanship, technical proficiency, tactical awareness, athletic ability and mental toughness. This environment will embody the core values of integrity, leadership, effort, respect, and teamwork while promoting self confidence and cultivating a lifelong passion for the game. Our goal is to provide all of our players the physical, technical, tactical, and emotional training to be able to compete at the highest level. To achieve this goal we will make every effort to insure that well-educated coaches develop the skills, fitness, teamwork and sportsmanship to foster and perpetuate these qualities at all levels of their soccer growth. What’s New at the Eagles? New recruiting coordinator: Scott Decker Played competitive soccer as a youth and high school in Simi Valley. When we were the best! ·Started coaching competitive soccer as a 17 year old in 1979. Built and worked with successful teams from B/GU9 thru B/G19. State and National cup levels. Has coached with multiple organizations from Simi, RSC, LAFC, NHB, and SBFC. Has had multiple players go on to play at collegiate level. Worked with DACA kids to get them through club soccer and help provide the path to get them into college and they have gone on to play and graduate from universities. All coaches are on the pathway to acquiring their national C, B or A license Team Development: • Training will be reality based with maximum time spent in competitive, game like situations. • Coaching will utilize guided discovery, positive communication, and appropriate intensity level. • Games will provide every player with a safe environment to develop within the overall competitive goals for the team. • Individual needs will be addressed within the team environment.
