Increasing emphasis on teaching Move last TPR in year two forward to middle of year –timing after first observation in second year Put in place ‘intervention policy’ for trainees on competent Modify trainee teacher documentation taking account of new OFSTED framework Joint observations with all partner colleges Collate evidence from internal observation moderation from partner colleges

Possible ‘interventions’ timing – individual – when progress is not being made observing a good teacher extra tutorials extra observation dual observations tripartite meetings involve line manager when appropriate peer observation additional training/cpd
