Classroom News Week of January 22nd A Peek at the Week Mrs. Scott cscott@usd365.org A Peek at the Week Upcoming Tests and Assignments January 26th- Homework page due January 26th- Lesson 17 Spelling Test * We will be celebrating 100’s Day this Friday, but there is nothing required for you to do at home. Writing/Grammar: -Because of snow day delays, we are finally getting started on our how-to writing. - Adjectives that compare Reading: Conclusions - Point of view Math: -Chapter 7- We will be reviewing for the chapter 7 test scheduled for Wednesday. Spelling: -Lesson 17 spelling words- Words with the /j/ and/s/ sounds Science: -We will be finishing a 3 week unit over force and motion. We will be visiting the STEM lab at the end of the week in order to conduct some ‘hands-on” investigations. - February 1st and 6th- Parent Teacher Conferences February 7th-GES PTO Meeting in the library at 6:00 February 14th- Valentines Day party at 2:00. We will make envelopes here at school, but if your child would like to bring a special box from home, that would be fine.
