Germ Theory & Diseases Advances in Medicine Anton V. Leeuwenhoek discovered microbes Louis Pasteur showed link between the diseases and microbes (germs). He also showed that certain germs could be used to treat diseases. Robert Koch showed Bacteria causing TB Pasteur’s and Koch’s Ideas were established as Germ Theory Br. Siraj
