Past Continuous

In the Past Continuous, we use the helping verb BE (was/were) + verb ing . I was sleeping. They were sleeping.

Where were you living in 2014? The Past Continuous is used to talk about something in progress at a specific time in the past. I was living in Spain. Where were you living in 2014?

What were you doing at 10 pm last night? The Past Continuous is used to talk about something in progress at a specific time in the past. What were you doing at 10 pm last night? I was eating pizza.
