PROGRAMS REPORTING

PROGRAMS reporting National Headquarters provides year-end report forms in the annual National Program Book. Responses to the questions asked provide Headquarters with insight to the success and adoption of National Programs and initiatives.

PROGRAMS reporting The questions on the year-end report form change year to year. Your Department may have its own report form and ask additional questions – that’s OK! Be sure to answer the questions HQ asks, too!

PROGRAMS reporting When a question asks for the total number of hours, count all the hours that went into PLANNING, PREPARING, PARTICIPATING and COMPLETING the project. DO NOT include Post volunteer hours, miles or expenses in your reports.

DOUBLE REPORTING

PROGRAMS reporting Ex: Your Auxiliary spent $30 on supplies for youth to make cards for veterans. The cards were then delivered to veterans at a medical facility. The entire project took six hours. Divide the time and money spent on supplies between the two Programs: Three volunteer hours and $15 for Youth Activities. Three volunteer hours and $15 for Hospital.

PROGRAMS reporting Ex: Veterans Voices Writing Project – Hospital or Veterans & Family Support? If it takes place IN a medical facility or on its grounds, report the activity under Hospital. If it takes place elsewhere, report the activity under Veterans & Family Support.

PROGRAMS reporting Department President reports to National Headquarters. Department Chairmen report to Department President. Auxiliary Chairmen report to Department Chairmen.

Department chairmen Reporting is a key component of your appointment. Compile numbers and information provided by all Auxiliaries in the Department. Use the information provided by Auxiliaries in your Department to complete the Year-End Report Form provided in the National Program Book. Submit the Year-End Report to the Department President.

PROGRAMS reporting National Headquarters compiles all the information submitted by all the Department Presidents. Those numbers are used in multiple ways: National Fact Sheet National website National Convention Book Other marketing materials

REPORT! REPORT! REPORT! PROGRAMS reporting All projects approved at the Auxiliary level affect our veterans, their families and our communities… REPORT! REPORT! REPORT!
