Prayer Flags

Prayer flags are traditional symbols of peace, compassion, protection and love. The flags are hung outside for the wind to carry their blessings and prayers to all.

Most prayer flags are meant to deteriorate over a period of time Most prayer flags are meant to deteriorate over a period of time. It is through this process that both the earth and the wind are recipients of the prayers. These are Windhorse Prayer Flags with blessings printed on them, and are used throughout Asia to let the winds send blessings up into the atmosphere and, as the flags decay, have the blessings to fall to the Earth as well. Each flag is block-printed by hand by monks as it has been done for centuries
