Introduction Twice exceptional is a term used for a student that would qualify as a gifted students and has a disability. The more common IDEA disabilities are: Speech Section 504 - Diabetes OHI - ADHD SLD Autism Behavior Disorder

Identifying Twice Exceptional Students Difficult to identify 2e students because: 1. Disability masks Giftedness 2. Giftedness masks disability 3. Neither are identified
