8Y 01-04-2016 Monday Americans Move West Objective: Describe causes and effects of American western expansion. Agenda: Do now: Go to page 582 in your textbooks: Chapter 18. Read the titles, main ideas, and big ideas of each section. Write a short summary of what you think each section will be about in Chapter 18 (Google Classroom: Chapter 18 Notes) Access latest assignment in Google Classroom: “Heartland”. Read the questions. Watch episode 6: “Heartland” of America the Story of Us. Take notes using the viewing guide. Homework: Copy and define the key terms from Chapter 18 Section 1. Read page 586-589 in your textbooks. There will be a short quiz on the terms and reading during our next class.
