My Contributions in Action I think that my contributions are very benefical and will help the kids when they start school. Include photos and other evidence of your work at your WLE. Put bullet points answering all or some of the questions above.

Reflection - Communicating Powerfully - Completing Projects Effectively - Thinking Critically - Collaborating Productively

Leadership Skills Think Critically Complete Project Effectively I think I used all the leadership skills equally. I used thinking critically to come up with new ways to teach the kids their names and numbers (1-10). I also used completing projects effectively and collaborating productively because I had to work with my mentor to figure out what my project was going to be and how I could teach the kids. Furthermore, I used communicating powerfully because I had to communicate with the kids and show them how to write their names and numbers. Think Critically Complete Project Effectively Collaborate Productively Blog #5: Bullet point your responses to the blog questions above into the space below. 1. The leadership skill(s) I use the most at my WLE is/are… 2. I am using this/these leadership skill(s) well because... I could improve this skill if I… 3. This leadership skill helps me do my work because… 4. The leadership skill my mentor uses the most is ____________________ because _________. 5. My biggest struggle in working at my WLE is _____________ because ___________. 6. Leadership skills will help me overcome my struggles by______________ and ____________. Communicate Powerfully

Reflection: What I Learned… About Myself I learned that I am actually pretty good at child development. I also learned that I need to work on my patience with kids, even though I already am patient but there's always room for improvement. About this Profession I learned that not everything can go my way. I have to compromise. About the World of Work Communication is key; so is patience. Blog #6: Bullet point your responses to the blog questions above into the space below. 1. Through this WLE experience I have learned ____________, ________________ and ____________ about myself. (what I can do, what I like, etc.) 2. The challenges I have faced in my WLE are __________________________, ______________ and ______________________. I have overcome these challenges by ____________________. The things I have learned from these challenges are… 3. The passions/life lessons/values I have learned from this experience are… 4. I used my creativity during WLE by… 5. My WLE placement affected me/a community/my environment/a particular group of people in the many ways. One way was___________________. If someone asked me if what I did at my WLE was important I would say ____________ because ________________. 9. What I learned at my WLE will affect the choices I make in my future because…

Reflection: What I learned… About Professionalism As a result of my WLE, I think being a professional or a responsible adult in the work world means that you have to know how to handle situations with people if something bad happens. You also have to be able to think on your feet. About Finding a Job In order to find my WLE and get hired, I had to find a place that had internships then I had to call to see if it was possible for me to intern there. The most effective way of looking for a job and getting hired is by being polite and have a resume, showing that your skills and what you are capable of. Also tell them why you think you are right for the job but don't be too assertive. Blog #7: Bullet point your responses to the blog questions above into the space below. 1. In order to find my WLE and get hired, I had to… The skills I used were … I wish I had known…   2. The most effective way of looking for a job and getting hired is by… From this experience I learned… 3. As a result of my WLE, I think being a professional or a responsible adult in the work world means… The skills I saw my mentor use were… The professional skill I need to work on most is…

Reflection: Big Picture… \ I improved at my intern because it helped me for my future, if I ever want to have kids. It showed me different ways that I can teach my kids. I think that I might go take on child development because I really love kids. Overall. I think this WLE choice for my senior year was a great decision. It's shown me a new skill I didn't know I already had. I love kids, they are so funny and sweet. You know what they say, " Kids are our future." So I believe that we should spend more time with them and see what our future has to hold.
