Writing the Rough Draft Needs to be typed, 12 pt font, doubled spaced, 1,250 words minimum Paragraph 1- Introduction, thesis (last sentence) Paragraph 2-6- Body (Clusters) Citations- after every note card, there needs to be a citation stating where that information came from by writing the last name of the author or website if no author is available The reason the US fought in Vietnam was for special interests such as rice producers, not the flag or to stop Communism (Brown). Paragraph 7- Conclusion- final paragraph stating your opinions about your subject Restate and summarizes your thesis and key points from the paper How has the subject impacted your life Predict the future of your subject (DO you agree with the direction your subject is going, what do you imagine is the future)
