Korezak Ziol Kowski By Ben

In 1933 Korezak’s marble sculpture of Ignacy Jan Paderwski won first prize at the New York's World Fair . People thought it was so great they wanted to make a Native American sculpture of him.

He volunteered for service in the United States army and ended up being wounded in 1994 . On June 3, 1948, the first blast was made on the Crazy Horse Memorial.

he was born September 6, 1908, in Boston he was born September 6, 1908, in Boston . He died October20, 1982, in Crazy horse ,South Dakota.

ZiolKowski moved to Hartford Connecticut to begin his new life as a professional artist. Korezak continued his life until he died of a heart attack in 1982 .
