Why attend Fresno State to play Golf? Fresno has some of the finest golf courses to offer in all of California. Fresno State gets the opprutunity to play eight of these courses all located in Fresno less than 20 minutes from campus. The weather promotes golf year around. With sunny summers and relatively dry and warm winters, fresno is the perfect location to play year-around golf. Traveling from Fresno is fun and easy too. Fresno has its own airport loocated only 15 minutes from campus. And because California is home to many colleges and other college golf teams, we travel to many of our tournaments by van.
