Concluding remarks There are coordination/ collaboration between some areas but could be improved especially between MIG and Housing Should be taken into account that MIG and Housing are formula driven whilst other programmes are project driven Improved planning and identification of priorities during the budget process MTEC, Bilaterals, 10 x 10’s MinComBud, Budget Forum/ Council, Extended Cabinet Since 2005, the MTEC process has been restructured according to clusters Tabling of three-year allocations by municipality aims to facilitate improved planning
