Word of the day Set three

Collide (Verb) Definition: To come together with solid or direct impact. Sentence: The car collided with a tree.

CRACKLE (verb) Definition: To make small sharp sudden repeated noises. Sentence: We sat around the crackling campfire.

Magnify (VERB) Definition: To enlarge in fact or in appearance. Sentence: The sound of birds singing was magnified by the calm air

LURCH (Verb) Definition: To abruptly jerk, sway, or tip. Sentence: The car moved forward with a lurch.

Gravitate (VERB) Definition: To be drawn or attracted to something. Sentence: The guests gravitated toward the far side of the room.

SAUNTER (VERB) Definition: To walk about in an idle or leisurely manner. Sentence: He sauntered slowly down the sidewalk.

Seize (verb) Definition: Take hold of suddenly and forcibly. Sentence: She jumped up and seized his arm.

Advise (verb) Definition: To give a recommendation about what should be done, to give advice to. Sentence: Her doctor advised her to get more exercise.
