Better align our organisation Maximise the capabilities of the GSMP process Ensure efficiency on a consistent basis Better serve the needs of our users ‘Objective and Balanced’ assessment of our current state Met with a cross section of our GSMP customer base (MO, Global Office, GS1 Committees and end-users) to develop a well-rounded perspective of their history, issues and challenges Initial assessment unveiled an opportunity to develop and implement tactical and strategic initiatives that will: Better align our organization Maximize the capabilities of the GSMP process Ensure efficiency on a consistent basis Better serve the needs of our GSMP customers Working with our GSMP customers will be a priority for our leadership team while incorporating improvements on an on-going basis Not an end-state; rather a transition to an environment that is efficient, flexible and adaptable and conducive to the overall efficiency of GS1

Better align our organisation Increase program management capabilities Activity Communications Tracker (ACT) Further alignment of GSMP organization and implementation of Program Management capabilities will leverage GSMP process capabilities Implementation of GS1 Program Management and our Activity Communications Tracker (ACT) application Brings additional clarity to the tracking, monitoring and management of global standards across the GS1 enterprise In essence, a flexible process with an aligned organization, supporting tools and continuous GSMP customer engagement will better support “The GS1 Way”.
