DD 254 Guidance All Task Orders requiring classified work will require a separate DD254 Baseline contract covers BGS, Crestview, and FWB for work outlined in the baseline PWS DD 254 and the SOO should not contain classified information Make sure security clearance level is clearly stated in the SOO – also note if a clearance is not required A DD254 is not required if there are no classified elements to the work being done The customer is responsible for defining the requirements in the SOO and DD 254 Customers will normally coordinate the SOO and DD 254 through SOCOM industrial security Other MAJCOM industrial security coordination necessary on a case-by-case basis Each block representing an access in section 10 and 11 of the DD 254 must be called out in the SOO
