A Peek at Next Week in… Reminders Mrs. Ernest’s and Mrs. Perez’s Class Feb. 25, 2019 Reminders Homework this year is to practice math facts and read daily AND spend time with your family! Additional homework will be given from time to time to study for tests. Objectives:  Reading: We will continuing researching our animal by gathering and categorizing facts using primary and secondary sources. Language: Students will continue to work with prepositions and prepositional phrases.  Writing: Students will continue to read to gather information and write their research about animals. Spelling Words: Contractions – they will need to know how to spell, as well as, what two words make up the contraction. Weren’t, couldn’t, wasn’t, where’s, hasn’t, doesn’t, there’s, she’s, isn’t, here’s, who’s, aren’t Math: This week students will continue to determine types of coins and count the value of coins. Students will be able to determine the difference between saving, spending, depositing, or withdrawing. Science: Students will wrap up basic needs of animal and plants and begin learning about migration, hibernation and adaptation.
