Average Business Hours And here’s now to use it: On average, how many hours do you work in your business each week (yes, it varies…what’s the average?) Place that number on the line that says “Average Business Hours Worked Weekly. Using your appointment calendar, determine how many hours…on average …you spend on each of these activities. Average Business Hours Worked Weekly ______

Average Business Hours Next: Strategy and Planning: the hours you spend working “on” rather than “in” your business to set direction, create and adjust your plan and lead your team. Revenue Producing Activities: the hours you spend selling (only selling produces revenue, right??) Average Business Hours Worked Weekly ______

Next: Admin: the number of hours you spend moving paper around, checking email, doing “little things.” Personal: you might be wondering why you’re calculating personal time in a business exercise. We all interrupt our business day to take care of “our stuff”… picking up the kids, calling your sister, etc. How many hours do you spend on personal stuff?

Average Business Hours Usually, right about now, people ask us what the correct number of hours should be spent in each category. There is no “one” answer. It will always vary based on your business. But if you want a “guideline,” the percentages in the circle to the left will aid you in rearranging your activities for better results. Enjoy your improved results! Average Business Hours Worked Weekly 40 hours

With honest answers to these questions, you now know where you’re spending your time. And where you should be spending your time. Make the adjustments you require and watch what happens: A stronger, more productive business Greater prosperity for you and your team More time in your day for you!
