Presenters Paul Hardy Lord Tim Clement-Jones CBE Brexit Director, DLA Piper Paul has over 25 years' experience as a lawyer including five years working in the European Commission in Brussels and eight years as the senior EU Legal Adviser in the UK Parliament. His professional background makes him uniquely placed to navigate clients through the complexities of Brexit. Lord Tim Clement-Jones CBE Head of UK Government Affairs, DLA Piper Tim was Chairman of the Liberal Party from 1986 to 1988 and played a major part in the merger with the Social Democratic Party to form the Liberal Democrats. He was made CBE for political services in 1988 and a life peer in 1998. He was Federal Treasurer of the Liberal Democrats from 2005 to 2010. He is now Liberal Democrat Spokesman on the Digital Economy.

Presenters Callum Biggins Anthony Callaert Head of Campaigns, Confederation of British Industry (CBI) Callum leads on the CBI’s political engagement programme and oversees coordination of the CBI’s policy outputs. Prior to taking up his current role, Callum led the CBI’s work on fiscal events including: coordinating the CBI’s budget submissions, managing CBI communication and campaign plans and working with key stakeholders to deliver policy wins for CBI members. He has also worked as a policy advisor on political and parliamentary affairs, speechwriting and developing the CBI’s compliance frameworks with UK electoral law ahead of the 2015 General Election and 2016 EU Referendum. Anthony Callaert Associate, DLA Piper, EU Regulatory, Trade & Government Affairs (Brussels) Anthony is a lawyer within DLA Piper's Brussels-based government affairs team, focusing on EU policy and regulatory affairs and advising clients on EU public policy strategy and regulatory law. His experience covers advising and assisting governments, diplomatic missions, and corporate stakeholders on the multifaceted aspects of EU law and policy, providing him with considerable knowledge and insights in the EU policy-making processes and the functioning of the EU’s institutional framework.
