Markets and scopes of supply PJSC “Turboatom” is one of the world’s leading companies in the design, manufacture and supply of power equipment for thermal (TPP), nuclear (NPP) and hydraulic power plants (HPP and PSPP).. from 1965 to 1970 – Thak-Ba HPP, 3 Kaplan hydro turbines with unit capacity of 37,0 MW; 1993 – Thak-Mo HPP, 2 Francis hydro turbines with unit capacity of 80,0 MW; from 2004 to 2010 – Thak-Ba HPP, modernization of 3 Kaplan hydro turbines with increase of unit capacity to 41,0 MW and the extension of operational lifetime; also 43 hinged support for sector gates for Chian, Hòa Bình and Yali hydraulic power plants were supplied. Markets and scopes of supply Turbines made by PJSC “Turboatom” successfully operates at Power Plants more than 45 countries of Europe, Asia, America and Africa..  Over 260 steam turbines with total capacity over 60 mln. kW were manufactured for Thermal Power Plants, 55 turbines for16 TPP of distant foreign countries. For 24 NPP were manufactured 169 turbines with total capacity over 60 mln. kW, 40 turbines for 7 NPP of distant foreign countries. “Turboatom” supplied 13% of turbines for NPP from total scope of supply at NPP turbine market and takes the 4th place between turbine-building companies, in the world. In Ukraine 3 acting NPP (Zaporozhskaya, Uzhno-Ukrainskaya, Rovenskaya) completed with 12 “Turboatom” turbines with capacity 220,1000 and 1100MW. At 100 HPPs of fourth continents over 400 hydro turbines with total capacity near 32 mln. kW and 450 hydrovalves for HPP and pump plants were supplied. Turbines made by PJSC “Turboatom” surely operate: 1. at NPP “Loviisa” (Finland), “Paks” (Hungary), “Kozloduy” (Bulgaria); 2. at TPP “Nankin” and “Inkou” (China), “Marica-East” (Bulgaria); 3. at HPP “Klostarfoss” and “Vigelands Brug” (Norway), “Sigalda” (Iceland), “Purnary” (Greece), “Salto Grande” and “Pyedra del Agila” (Argentina), “Aguamilpa” (Mexico) and others. PJSC “Turboatom” – enterprise which has International Certificate of Quality Management System ISO 9001:2008. Cooperation “Turboatom” accumulated positive experience of cooperation with turbine-building companies of the world – “Siemens” (Germany), “Alstom-Power” (International Concern) etc., in supply of power equipment, including: “Pournari” HPP (Greece), “Aguamilpa” HPP (Mexico) and “El Cajon” HPP (Mexico), “Tehri” HPP (India), modernization of Unit No.8, with capacity 300 MW of Zmiev TPP (Ukraine).

STEAM TURBINE The production of steam turbines in Ukraine began in 1934 after the completion of construction of Kharkov turboelectric plant.. Today the production of steam turbines offers the full cycle of equipment manufacturing: research, design, manufacture, testing, installation supervision, technical engineering support, maintenance repair, modernization of equipment during operation. Special laboratories on testing materials, systems of turbine elements in accordance with the requirements of the international standards work at the enterprise. High quality of products is achieved through continuous improvement. The technical level of steam turbines produced by PJSC “Turboatom” is characterized by high efficiency, reliability and high availability factor. The latest achievements of experimental and theoretical, scientific, research and design works keeping the portability and unification on the basis of the accumulated experience are used during the development of new turbine. The enterprise has the unique research facilities, where the full-scale or model testing of the most critical units is performed to provide the required aerodynamics, vibration, strength characteristics. The research is performed in two areas: mathematical studies of parametric models of parts and units; physical model research and full-scale turbine elements. There are many test stands which are equipped .with electronic data processing units for performing the range of experimental works The enterprise cooperates with the research and design organizations. Steam turbines for TPP: Condensing turbines up to 299 MW Condensing turbines over 300 MW Cogeneration turbines Steam turbines for NPP: Steam turbines with rotor speed 25s-1 Steam turbines with rotor speed 50 s-1, 60 s-1 Back-pressure steam turbines: Steam turbines, capacity up to 5 MW Steam turbines, capacity up to 5-12 MW Steam turbines with controlled stream extractors, capacity 6-35 MW  Auxiliary equipment: Heat exchange equipment: air heater, oil cooler, deliver water heater; Air blowers, ejectors, draught machines, rotors for draught machines; Low Pressure Heaters (LPH), Mixers; Filters.

Range of hydro turbine equipment: Since 1953, enterprise manufactures all kinds of reaction-type hydro turbines and inlet valves for domestic and foreign HPP and HPSPP. Development and design of hydro power equipment carries out by special design office “TURBOHYDROMASH”. SDO “TURBOHYDROMASH”, due to availability of skilled specialists and own experimental facilities, performs entire necessary work package of research and design, design and engineering developments for creation of modern hydraulic machines, including: Flow parts for all kinds of reaction hydro turbines, reversible hydraulic machines and inlet valves designing; New hydro turbine equipment design, entire necessary scope of hydrodynamic, strengthening and other special calculations realization; Projects of modernization of equipment worked its service life performance; Power–cavitational, pulsating, erosion, power tests of hydro turbine models, reversible hydromachines and also research of assemblies and machinery; Condition survey of equipment, are subject to rehabilitation, using modern technical facilities, including testing at HPP; Residual life prediction of parts of equipment, subject to reconstruction, using physic-mathematical model of destruction; Acceptance testing of hydro turbines` and reversible hydraulic machines` models, including modernized water passages at special benches o the laboratory; Supervise of equipment erection; Commissioning and start-adjusting testing; Warranty full scale testing of hydro turbine equipment; Warranty and service maintenance of equipment.
